Biography

Manheim is a four members black’n'roll band from Zabok, Croatia. The band was formed in 2007 and brought out its first demo in March 2008. In the following years, Manheim won the O’Rock festival in Oroslavje, Croatia, after it entered the competition as a replacement for a band that could not perform. Frontman Mamut won the prize for the best performance on Demo festival in Zaprešić, Croatia. During autumn 2010 Manheim recorded their first EP entitled “Kreatura”.
By the end of 2011 the band signed a deal for booking and management with Northwind Promotion and Events GbR. Together with other big bands of the scene, Manheim appeared on the first edition of the Niflheim Festival in Stuttgart, Germany in February 2012.
Manheim’s first full-length album “Nihil” will be released in fall 2013. The album was recorded by Dražen Završki in their hometown. The vocals for “Kreatura” and “Deathcrush” (Mayhem cover) were recorded in Tidalwave Studio, Germany and the album was mixed by Patrick Damiani (Falkenbach, Secrets Of The Moon, Carach Angren, Sopor Aeternus). Recording lasted from November 2012 to February 2013. The album features nine songs mostly written in 2011 and 2012, except of Kreatura and Prigrli Besmisao, both appeared on previous demo recording.
